The LOOK Project identifies and helps those older children with medical needs that are not being attended to by government or other charitable avenues. These may include:
* surgical and other medical procedures
* cosmetic surgery
* dental work
* prostheses
* physical therapy
* assistive devices such as eyeglasses, hearing aids, wheelchairs, or canes
The LOOK Project will also identify any situations where the older children are residing in poor physical conditions and try to remedy these problems. For example, LOOK may donate beds, new mattresses, warm winter bedding and coats for the older children, or may fix any identified environmental danger such as high lead levels or unsafe electrical wiring in an orphanage.
