OUR MISSION

To assist in providing older children growing up in Chinese orphanages (SWIs) with the health, skills and knowledge they will need to eventually function as independent, productive, and healthy adults when they leave the SWI.

The LOOK Project provides support in three broad areas:
- Medical/Physical Needs
- Educational/Training Needs
- Social/Emotional Needs
We are pleased to announce that we are currently in the process of setting up a means for 'Educational Sponsorships' for older children residing in the poorest orphanages.  In this program, individual orphans will be identified who have educational needs that are not covered by the government or other avenues, such as tuition for those who have studied hard and managed to obtain entry into college, or those who need occupational training in order to obtain a good job after they graduate from high school.  The sponsor (an individual person or group) will contribute monthly toward the child's education, and will receive periodic reports on their sponsored child's progress.  Stay tuned for more details on this program soon!
