With an international recession, donations to many charities, including LOOK, are understandably down. We all worry about retirement funds, how to pay for our childrens' college educations, and where money for bills will come if we should be laid off our jobs - - but unfortunately the children in the orphanages have needs that simply can't wait until times get easier. For instance, the older orphans residing in very poor SWIs in Henan province do not have many of their most basic needs met - - for clothing, school supplies, and toiletries. In these hard times, please continue to remember the children because even the smallest donation can do so much. Our sincerest thanks to everyone who has continued to donate for the children during this past difficult year, and we ask for your continued support and that you spread the word about the work of LOOK.
