Currently our most urgent needs are for the children in Henan province.  This is a particularly poor province that does not have enough funding to cover even the most basic needs of the children like adequate clothing and beds/bedding, much less any medical needs of special need orphans.  Some of the children sleep two to a narrow bed because of overcrowding, and some children are not able to attend school because they don't have proper shoes or backpacks and supplies!  Because we have recently become aware of how desperate many of the orphans are in Henan, LOOK Project has decided to make helping 10 orphanages in this Province a primary focus in 2009.  Click on the Projects page to learn more, and please consider making a donation today!

Our second focus is on finding sponsors and donors to cover the educational needs of some deserving orphans who, through hard work and initiative, have managed to gain entrance into a university program.  Unfortunately their orphanages cannot afford to send them, and the government only pays education through high school level.  So sadly, without support, these children will not be able to attend college despite excelling on a rigorous entrance exam that few orphans pass.  Please click on the Education tab for more information about how you can help these deserving students to reach their dreams!
